Rhodes St TIMARU

Rhodes Street

Back section, close to town, what more could you ask for!

This symmetrical design features a central entry that opens into the main living areas.  These are all north facing and will take full advantage of South Canterbury’s sunshine hours.  The living room will be off to the left and the dining room to the right.  These rooms have a stunning raking ceiling that will lead you to the generous kitchen that is situated along the back wall, connecting all three of these fantastic spaces.  The kitchen has a central breakfast bar so quick meals can be taken here rather than the more formal dining room.  The entry will feature timber slatted walls on either side that will enclose the living and dining rooms slightly but will also add warmth and an interesting feature to complement the raking ceiling.

The western end of the house will be the master bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe and an even larger en-suite.  A private deck will come off the sliding doors to the north making this area a sanctuary to retreat to for a bit of quiet time.

The eastern end of the home has two more bedrooms with built in wardrobes.  One of the bedrooms also opens to a larger deck that wraps around to the sliding doors opening from the living area.  A common bathroom just outside these bedrooms is in the perfect spot to service both the occupants of the spare rooms and the living areas.

Vertical and horizontal James Hardie weatherboard will clad the exterior with a 5-rib colorsteel single pitch roof completing the look.
